Management & Client Care Team
Jill Korbutiak - Practice Manager
Jill joined Canmore Veterinary Hospital as the Practice Manager at the end of 2019. She is very happy to be working alongside a dedicated and friendly team! Jill brings a variety of skills and experiences to the role. After graduating as a Registered Veterinary Technician from Seneca College in King City, Ontario, she worked in a variety of clinical settings in technical, administrative and managerial capacities. Jill moved to Alberta in 2011 and is enjoying the mountain lifestyle and getting to know the Canmore community. She shares her life with her two cats, Oscar and Charlie, and two teenagers. In her spare time, Jill enjoys hiking, camping, skiing and looking forward to traveling more.
Megan Hunt - Client Care
Megan has become a valuable member of our reception team since joining us in June 2021. Originally from Ontario, Megan decided to make the move to Canmore to be closer to family and the mountains. She brings many years of dog walking experience and is passionate about learning more about animal behaviour. The best part of her day is, “spending time with all the different animals and getting to know our clients”. When Megan is not working, she enjoys hiking, biking, and rollerblading with her two dogs Scout and Harriet.
Marina Hulburd - Client Care
Marina joined Canmore Veterinary in 2020 and we can’t imagine life without her! She brings a wealth of experience to our client care team after having worked in both emergency and general practice hospitals. Her gentle nature and dedication has been a perfect addition! Marina is a Canmore native and as a youth was involved in gymnastics at the competitive level. Her team won gold at the Alberta Winter Games in 2008 and she placed third overall as an individual. Her favourite part about working at Canmore Veterinary is “getting to see each pet develop their own personality as they grow up”. When not at work, Marina enjoys hiking, reading, sketching and digital art. She’s also looking forward to getting a dog of her own soon!
Aidan Booker - Client Care
As the newest member of the client care team at Canmore Veterinary Hospital, it is easy to see that Aidan is eager to learn and has high aspirations for the future of animal science. Aidan graduated in April 2022 from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario with a degree in Biochemistry. He wrote his thesis on pain chronobiology and neuroimmunology, completed research in Lyme disease diagnostics, as well as worked with injured and orphaned wildlife. When Aidan is not at work, he enjoys backcountry snowboarding, rock climbing, ice climbing, running triathlons, ultras, and more!
