Sometimes we see patients who require more specialized treatments that we do not offer within our hospitals. To ensure that these patients see a qualified professional we work with hospitals or surgeons who have expert training to help the patient’s condition. We have already taken the step to recruit one such specialist, our locum surgeon who comes to our hospital to perform orthopedic surgeries. These specialists have in-depth training and have been certified by our board as someone who can offer high-quality services.

What should I do if my pet is referred to a special hospital or clinic?

If our team deems it necessary to refer your pet to a specialist we stay connected through the patient’s treatment and diagnosis. We will ensure that your pet’s medical history is sent electronically to the receiving surgeon or doctor. Once diagnosed our team will follow-up with the specialist to discuss their treatment.

If you are referred to our hospital, please arrange for your pet’s documents to be transferred to us. When booking the appointment, our team will provide further instructions to help prepare your pet for their visit.
