Amanda

Amanda is our most senior Veterinary Technician here at Canmore Veterinary. Her dedication and experience are invaluable and the pride she continues to show is hard to miss. Caring for animals started at a young age for Amanda as she began helping out with the SPCA in North Bay, Ontario at 10 years old.

This early passion continued and she graduated from Algonquin College, Ottawa as a RVT. The mountains were calling and Amanda moved west. She joined the team at Canmore Veterinary in 2009 and has been with us ever since. Amanda has definitely embraced the work life balance.

When not at work, you can find her on some mountain peak; whether she has gotten there by foot or by split board. She also enjoys rock climbing, camping, kayaking and shares her life with her partner, two dogs and three cats.
